Commissioning a House Portrait, How does it work?

Well,  First we talk.  You tell me Stories about your Family, History of your Home, likes and dislikes.
I take many Pictures and you supply some, too.
We sign my Contract and a 50% Down Payment is made.
I let the Images and Stories roll around in my mind for a month.  Things start to gel.
I start Sketching.  I prepare the Linen Canvas.
I  Paint….  More things fall into place on the canvas.
At a minimum 2 months later I present you with the House Portrait.  The final 50% is paid.
I will make some changes if you wish.  The House Portrait is scanned by my Printer for my Portfolio.
You take your House Portrait to your Framer.
More?
Notecards And Giclees ( Archival reproductions, on Art Paper or Canvas) can be ordered.
An Unveiling Party can be scheduled.

    Dear Ms Groenert,
May I get an estimate on the cost of a home portrait? I would like to give this as a gift to my sister on her 50th birthday. Her home is in Southwood Park, near Foster Park. Her birthday is in two weeks, so we would like to be able to give her a “gift certificate” of sorts for the portrait, and she would then be the person you interact with in the process of creating the painting.

    Best regards,
    Jeanni Gouloff Musgrave

I would love a quote for a house portrait. I am trying to plan on moving in the next 5 years and am interested in getting the home I live in painted before we move. Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you! ^_^
